The Foundation of a Fantastic Partnership
Our Fascination with Baobab Collection started a few years ago, when we visited the trade shows in Paris where the Baobab Collection stands were always the centre of attention. The stands captured the mood and looked to promise unknown riches and luxuries, the likes of which we had never seen before.
Seeing Baobab Collection again in high end stores around the world intrigued us. We had never seen candles so huge, but were also mesmerised by the beauty of their containers, and the beautiful scents given off by them. We just had to find out more about this astonishing brand, and so we embarked on our own journey of discovery and, with much pride, became an official Baobab Collection Partner, learning about what makes this brand so special and why it had been so easy for us to fall in love with it.
The Baobab Collection Story
Baobab Collection is a Belgian brand with African origins. Originally inspired in 2002 by the enchanting landscape of Tanzania, a country rich in intense colours and bewitching perfumes. Just like the baobabs overlooking the African savannah, Baobab Collection's candles and diffusers are known for their size and original designs. They are extraordinary objects providing an olfactory and aesthetic experience. Each product of Baobab Collection is a tale waiting to be discovered, a sensory experience that is the result of exquisit perfume and aesthetic design.
Baobab Collection Values
Baobab Collection stays true to its values of craftsmanship and excellence by supporting European expertise and craftsmen. Their raw materials are selected with the greatest care: mineral wax from Germany, glass from Poland, leather from Italy and scents created and perfected in Grasse. All the candles are hand-poured into glass that is blown by master craftsmen, making each one completely unique. A black ribbon with the brands' logo is then added to every candle before it is wrapped in an elegant black box.
