We just love the Malia collection, and the endearing dusty blue glaze of these plates, available in two sizes, as well as bowls and other essential items to make up a full dinner service. The range is decorated with an appealing etched design, which is interesting as well as functional. The deep blue glaze has a light summery feel and as it is a reactive glaze, each piece will be unique, never being exactly the same as the one before it.

These collections are created by talented artisans in China. The country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked. Nkuku work together with their suppliers to protect these skills.
